For the purpose of offering a simple and intuitive vehicle, the controls in the cab have been reorganized, placing the essential and most frequently used ones on the analogue dashboards and implementing advanced functions on a digital display.
In addition to the standard organization by type, the functions can be customized by the user.
NEW SOFTWARE, CUSTOMIZED ELECTRONICS
The new management software, now fully developed by Dieci specialists and customized for the new Pegasus, exponentially raises the level of electronics quality to automotive standards.
In addition to simpler and more intuitive controls, the vehicle and boom movement is managed intelligently, simplifying work and increasing productivity.
- Feedback control movement: intelligent management of all vehicle movements for improved operating efficiency.
- Boom movement automatically managed by the control unit according to the 6 work modes that can be selected: Soft, Heavy, Normal, Eco, Wall and Floor.
DISPLAY AND FUNCTIONALITY
Rationalisation applied to the controls has led to the installation on the new Pegasus of a double display for digital control management:
- a 4.3” display dedicated to the vehicle’s driving functions.
- a 12” multitouch display dedicated to the functional status of the vehicle and boom, to manage the most advanced functions.
The operating screens of the display, which differ in travel mode or on outriggers, allow intuitive viewing and adjustment:
- work mode
- light screen
- working diagram (load and position)
- outriggers
- center of gravity
The display also includes controls for Bluetooth connectivity with the phone, automatic air conditioning and air recirculation.
WORK MODE
Six different work modes can be selected via the display:
- Normal: mode that balances smoothness and speed of operation.
- Soft: work mode featuring smooth and prolonged movements, useful for handling fragile loads in open environments.
- Heavy: working mode for phases where quick movements and speed are required.
- Eco: mode that offers the possibility of working only with the joysticks, without using the pedals, the vehicle will only increase the speed of the diesel engine when necessary.
- Wall: mode that retains the equipment’s verticality during ascent and descent.
- Floor: mode that retains the load horizontality.
AUTOMATIC EQUIPMENT RECOGNITION
No manual operations required, load diagram preselection, for easier operation and maximum safety.
ANTI TILT SYSTEM PRO
Increased safety also due to the new advanced anti tilt system, based on dynamic calculation of working loads according to the equipment installed.
EASY WORK SYSTEM
The work area adjusts automatically according to the position of the outriggers.
Load chart visible on display.
In the event of an overload, the system stops all aggravating movements.
